Terms of Service

Please read these terms carefully before using the SASC app. They govern your use of the official club application.

1 Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to the SASC app, the official mobile application of Sunrise Arts and Sports Club, Muthuthala Vadakkumuri, developed by Prydio. By downloading, installing, or using this App, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

Short version: Use the app honestly and responsibly as a club member or administrator. Misuse of the app or club data may result in account suspension.

2 Eligibility

The SASC app is intended exclusively for:

  • Current and prospective members of Sunrise Arts and Sports Club.
  • Authorised club administrators and managers.

Access to certain features requires approval by a club administrator. Accounts for members under 13 must be registered by a parent or legal guardian.

3 Your Account

When you register or are registered on the SASC app, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate personal information including your name and phone number.
  • Keep your account details up to date.
  • Not share your account access with others.
  • Notify us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Each member is entitled to one account.

4 Member Use

As a member, you may use the SASC app to:

  • View your membership profile and digital ID.
  • Check your fee balance and payment history.
  • View and pay outstanding dues.
  • RSVP for club events.
  • Read announcements and browse the club gallery.
  • Participate in club polls and surveys.
  • Receive push notifications from the club.

Members are responsible for ensuring their contact details are accurate so that dues reminders and event notifications reach them correctly.

5 Administrator Use

Club administrators are granted elevated access to manage club operations through the App. Admins agree to:

  • Use member data only for legitimate club management purposes.
  • Handle member personal information responsibly and in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
  • Not share member data with unauthorised third parties.
  • Use WhatsApp reminder features only for genuine payment reminders and club communications.
  • Record payment transactions accurately and issue receipts promptly.

Misuse of admin access — including unauthorised data export, harassment of members, or fraudulent payment recording — may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.

6 Acceptable Use

All users — members and admins alike — must not:

  • Attempt to access other users' accounts or data without authorisation.
  • Use the App to harass, threaten, or harm other club members.
  • Submit false information or misrepresent membership status.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or copy any part of the App.
  • Use automated tools to scrape or extract data from the App.
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the App.

7 Payments & Receipts

The SASC app is a membership management and record-keeping tool. Regarding payments:

  • The App records payment transactions as entered by club administrators.
  • PDF receipts generated by the App serve as official acknowledgment of recorded payments.
  • Advance credit balances shown in the App are managed by club administrators and should be verified with the club if discrepancies arise.
  • Prydio is not responsible for any disputes between members and the club regarding dues, payments, or balances.

For any payment disputes, members should contact Sunrise Arts and Sports Club administration directly.

8 Intellectual Property

The SASC app and its design, code, and features are the intellectual property of Prydio. Club-specific content (name, logo, announcements, photos) belongs to Sunrise Arts and Sports Club.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reproduce any part of the App without express written permission from Prydio.

9 Privacy

Your use of the SASC app is governed by our Privacy Policy, incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10 Termination

Your access to the SASC app may be terminated:

  • By you, at any time by requesting account deletion from the club administrator or contacting us.
  • By Prydio or the club administration, if you violate these Terms or misuse the App.
  • If your club membership is suspended or terminated by the club administration.

Upon termination, your access to the App and its features will cease. Payment records may be retained as required by law.

11 Disclaimers

The SASC app is provided "AS IS" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service or error-free operation. Prydio is not responsible for:

  • Errors in payment records entered by club administrators.
  • Decisions made by club administration using information from the App.
  • Disputes between members and the club arising from App data.
  • Loss of access due to phone number changes not reported to the club.

12 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Prydio shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the SASC app. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid to us (if any) in the 12 months preceding the claim.

13 Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via in-app notification. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
